We directly benefit children who are economically underserved, physically or mentally impaired, or because of traditional upbringing, may not have had the opportunity to explore other sports or community activities designed to influence their life. We concentrate in non-tangible areas, such as:
- self-confidence
- cultural awareness
- actualization
- mental toughness
- focus
- respect for others
- optimism in life
- leadership in community
We also benefit individuals, corporations and communities who have a desire to do something positive, develop good habits, and learn something new.
Very simply actually:
- IBTU will create an opportunity for an individual, company, and a group of children to participate in, and manage it as a one-time activity.
- As an output for the activity, IBTU will conduct a results survey that encourages continued learning and participation in an interactive sponsorship, or the opportunity to learn and mentor a child who requires their participation costs to be covered. Essentially you pay for both your continued learning, and the unique opportunity to engage that child.
- The funds acquired in Interactive Sponsorship go directly to building capital to sustain that programming. This includes capital and endowment campaigns aimed at securing facilities, equipment, and on-going services, like transportation, to support continued learning and mentorship opportunities.
We build participation by creating unique opportunities to engage children. We attract participants by creating learn-to-row and flash mob activities, and communicate to our audience via social media, guerilla and traditional marketing tactics.
We build relationships with mission-similar organizations, schools, and companies who's aim is to engage their respective audience in creative ways. Our goal is to create on-going, interactive sponsorship mentorships between respective audiences and the children who can benefit from our programming.
Through IBTU activities (rowing and flashmobs), we foster the growth of intangible, invaluable qualities in children’s lives, such as:
- self-confidence
- cultural awareness
- actualization
- mental toughness
- focus
- respect for others
- optimism in life
- leadership in community
Here are a few reasons how our engagement services can benefit YOU:
- For an individual, our interactive sponsorship opportunities help you learn new skills, such as how to row. While you're learning, you're also impacting a child's ambition to be the successful, confident adult you model to be.
- For a company, our interactive sponsorship opportunities create engaging team-building activities, such as flashmobs. You'll have access to additional opportunities for mutual growth through IBTU sponsored activities.
We expect our programming to inspire participants, mentors, sponsors and organizations to create habits that positively influence a child's life.
